At least 13 children were killed in the Israeli attack on a house that sheltered displaced people and refugees in the town of Jabalia, in the north of Gaza.
As part of a genocidal operation against the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, Israel committed a new massacre on Sunday, killing more than 30 people by bombing a house that served as a shelter for displaced people in the town of Jabalia, in the north of the Palestinian territory.
According to Palestinian media, Israeli planes bombed a house in the central neighborhood of Jabalia, where many residents and displaced families had taken refuge. The bombing completely destroyed the building, leaving rubble and devastation in its wake.
Among the 33 civilians killed in the attack, a total of 13 minors were killed during the bombing.
Rescue teams managed to recover the bodies of all the dead and managed to treat a considerable number of wounded people, some seriously. The injured were taken to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital for medical treatment.
Rescuers believe there are still many more people trapped under the rubble and efforts to locate survivors of the murderous attack are continuing as search and rescue operations continue.
The north of the Gaza Strip remains the hardest hit by Israeli troops since early October when they resumed operations under the theory that the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas was trying to regroup in the area.
Since then, at least 1,800 people have died in the north of the Gaza Strip, which includes Jabalia and its refugee camp, Beit Lahia and Bei Hanoun, according to the latest official figure published by the Palestinian authorities on Tuesday.
